It’s One Last Showdown Between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers in the new Halloween (Trailer)
After a pair of Rob Zombie movies that received a mixed reception, director David Gordon Green is delivering a reboot/sequel that pits Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode against Michael Myers aka The Shape one last time. Set 40 years after the original Halloween (and ignoring all other sequels), Michael Myers escapes custody when a prison transport bus crashes and he makes his way back to Haddonfield and begins killing again. Laurie Strode has been training for years on the chance that Michael would return and she is hell-bent on killing him or will die trying. Judy Greer, Toby Huss, Will Patton, Virginia Gardner, and Andi Matichak co-star and Gordon Green co-wrote the script with Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley. Original Michael Myers Nick Castle will join James Jude Courtney to portray Myers in the new movie. John Carpenter is back as executive producer and also composed the music, including an update to the iconic theme song and Jason Blum and Blumhouse are producing the film with Universal distributing it. The movie arrives on October 19th just in time for the holiday that shares it’s name and check out the incredible new trailer below.
