The Coens Return to the Old West for The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (Trailer)

It’s been 8 years since the Coen Brothers last foray in the Western genre with the True Grit remake but they are back deep into the Wild West for their upcoming Netflix movie, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.  An anthology film with six different parts, the movie features stories headlined by the like of Tim Blake Nelson, James Franco, Tom Waits, Liam Neeson, Zoe Kazan and Brendan Gleeson and follow characters like a prospector finding an unbelievable new vein of gold, a drifter who tries and fails to be a bank robber and cattle rustler, an outlaw singing cowboy and more.  The movie looks visually incredible and seems like it might have a lot more magical realism than the aforementioned True Grit remake.  The movie hits Netflix on November 16th and you can check out the trailer below.
