Following the battles of Harbinger Wars 2, Amanda McKee, aka Livewire, has been a fugitive with all government agencies. She had disrupted electrical power and most technologies as a show of force for the terrible treatment of young psiots, children with extraordinary abilities. Her fight against XO-Manowar had landed in a stalemate, with both sides agreeing to stop fighting and build a better future. Now Livewire lives on the run, hiding herself by cloaking her appearances in public. But to ensure the safety of her friends and the next generation of psiots, she is preparing for one more plan.
Issue one explores the consequences of the war and how Livewire is handling being on the run. She has made peace with XO-Manowar, and has contacted Ninjak to have one last intimate moment together. Knowing that the world is blaming her for over 200 casualties from her show of power, her time in the public is very limited and she must plan for a new course of action.
Writer Matt Kindt, with artists Adam Pollina, Diego Rodriguez and Dave Sharpe bring an insight to Livewire’s biggest challenge yet. She had made herself the world’s number one target, preparing to face who and whatever will come to stop her. The Harbinger war might be over for now, but Livewire continues the fight in next month’s issue.
