David Dunn Battles The Beast in Glass (Trailer)

Split was a fantastic horror thriller from M. Night Shyamalan, who seems to be recovering from the creative funk that dogged him following Signs, but the reveal that it was secretly a sequel/spin-off of Unbreakable blew everyone’s minds.  Now the worlds collide in January as Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) meets David Dunn (Bruce Willis) and Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson).  All three are patients at a mental facility run by Dr. Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson), who believes their claims of comic bookesque superpowers are simply elaborate delusions.  Glass and Crumb team-up and escape, leaving Dunn to try and live up to his superheroic potential and stop them.  Unbreakable is arguably Shyamalan’s best movie and Split is definitely in that conversation as well, so the idea of both movies combining for an epic team-up makes this a must watch.  It’s out on January 18th and you can check out the new trailer below.
