Get Ready for Another Arabian Night with Live Action Aladdin (Trailer)

Disney has had massive success with their recent live-action reboots of some of their iconic classics like The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin is the next one on the block coming next summer.  Mena Massoud stars as Aladdin, Naomi Scott is Princess Jasmine, Will Smith is the Genie, Marwan Kenzari is Jafar and Navid Negahban is the Sultan and there are some new characters created for the movie as well.  Guy Ritchie is behind the camera and Al Menken is back to provide the score and new version of some of his iconic songs from the animated classic and there are two new songs as well.  I personally have not seen it yet but I’ve heard the live action Beauty and the Beast was almost literally shot for shot the animated feature with only some minor tweaks to characters and plot and it’s unclear from this vague teaser if this new Aladdin will be the same way.  The movie will be out on May 24th next year and you can check out the trailer below.
