The Umbrella Academy Arrives on Netflix in February (Trailer)

Gerard Way’s comic series from Dark Horse Comics, The Umbrella Academy, is coming to Netflix in February with a live action adaptation.  Starring Ellen Page as Number 7, she’s one of six siblings who were all born in a bizarre event where 43 women who were not pregnant suddenly gave birth all at the same time.  All of the children exhibit some sort of extraordinary ability and Sir Reginald Hargreeves adopts the six members of The Umbrella Academy and transforms them into a superhero team.  When Hargreeves is killed, the siblings reunite to try and solve his death.  Tom Hopper, Colm Feore, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, David Castaneada, Aidan Gallagher, Mary J. Blige, Cameron Britton, Adam Godley and John Magaro co-star and Steve Blackman, whose worked on Legion, Fargo and Altered Carbon, is the showrunner.  The series debuts on February 15th and you can check out the trailer below.
