Georgie Is a Murderous Child Genius in The Prodigy (Trailer)

Jackson Robert Scott, who played Georgie in IT: Chapter 1, is back for more creepy kid horror with February’s The Prodigy.  Scott plays Miles, a child with genius level intellect, but his mother Sarah (Taylor Schilling) becomes concerned when he shows increasingly disturbing behavior.  Colm Feore co-stars as Miles’ psychologist and Peter Mooney plays Miles’ father John.  Nicholas McCarthy, who directed The Pact and At the Devil’s Door, is directing and the movie hits on February 8th.  It seems like a pretty generic “evil kid” movie but it could be solid, especially with Scott, who proved to be exceedingly creepy in IT.  Check out the trailer below.
