The Pull List – Death Orb #4
The cult leader Father has summoned the massive orb station in space to crash upon the Earth surface, obliterating life on the planet to be rebuilt in his image. As the countdown for a new apocalypse begins, Rider and his companions rush to the Father’s city fortress to stop the destruction, but must first find a way to disable the city’s many defenses. The Rider, along with a few capable fighters and the mysterious ninja, must take on waves of man and machine in this dangerous battle to stop Father’s plan.
With the fate of the entire planet on the line, Rider and his companions are willing to risk everything to save the day. The Rider, who dislikes working with others, decides to work alongside Carvell and his group. Originally a one time team up with Carvell, The Rider realizes there’s no point in facing Father alone if he can’t stop the death orb from crashing. In order to disable Father’s defenses, the heroes target the power planet that supplies Father’s city with electricity. City police, minion observers and machine sentients keep the city under control and block the group from easily advancing to the power planet. Turning to a desperate plan, Carvell instructs the group to stick together, no matter what sacrifices might be needed. The Rider, Pilot and the Ninja will have to prepare themselves once the power is out and Father will be seeking revenge.
As the series heads to the fifth issue, Ryan Ferrie, Alejandro Aragon, and Chris O’Halloran set the stage for an epic showdown that sees the heroes taking on the evil leader commanding the broken world. The Rider will be close to his goals, but his path to them without getting bloody. Santaic foes, cybernetics terrors and a deadly assassin await the heroes before they can reach Father in the concluding chapter coming next month.
