Ryan Reynolds is the Pikachu With a Mouth in Detective Pikachu (Trailer)

The Ryan Reynolds snark we love from Deadpool seems to be back in full effect for this May’s Detective Pikachu.  Reynolds is the title character, a Pikachu/private detective, who teams up with Tim Goodman (Justice Smith) to find Tim’s lost father (and because Tim is the only one who can actually hear Pikachu talk).  The duo travels all over and around Ryme City looking for clues and encounter a massive assortment of Pokemon, including Charizard, Mewtwo, Jigglypuff, Mr. Mime, Psyduck, Greninja, Bulbasaur and tons more.  Suki Waterhouse,  Ken Watanabe, Bill Nighy, Karan Soni, Kathryn Newton, Rita Ora, and Rob Delaney are the main human co-stars and Rob Letterman, who directed the first Goosebumps and Monsters vs Aliens, is directing.  The movie is out on May 10th and you can check out the new trailer below.
