Swamp Thing Arrives on DC Universe in May (Trailer)

After reports of production troubles and a brief teaser, the first actual look at DC Universe’s upcoming Swamp Thing show is finally here.  Executive produced by James Wan, the show stars Andy Bean as pre-accident Alec Holland and Derek Mears as Swamp Thing with Crystal Reed as Abby Arcane, who is investigating what she believes is a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisianna.  Virginia Madsen, Will Patton, Henderson Wade, Kevin Durand, and Jennifer Beals co-star and the show debuts on May 31st on the DC Universe app.  It seems like they’ve completely nailed the look of Swamp Thing himself and it looks like with Wan as producer, they are leaning into the more horrific side of the DC superhero and his world.  You can check out the trailer below.
