See Robert Forster for the Final Time in the Werewolf Movie The Wolf of Snow Hollow (Trailer)
One of the last year’s biggest losses was the legendary character actor Robert Forster, who passed away in October of last year. You can see Forster one last time in the upcoming werewolf movie The Wolf of Snow Hollow, which is the actor’s final on-screen credit. Written, directed by and starring Jim Cummings (not the legendary voice actor but the writer, star, and director of Thunder Road), the movie is set in the small town of Snow Hollow, where Cummings is a recovering alcoholic and cop. When a series of brutal murders start occurring, John Marshall (Cummings) is determined to find the human suspect, refusing to believe it could be a werewolf or anything else supernatural. Robert Forster plays Sheriff Hadley while Riki Lindhome co-stars as fellow police office Julia Robinson. I personally wasn’t too sold on the tone of the trailer, which seems to veer wildly between straight horror and some sort of character study/comedy with Cummings. Thunder Road was well-received around the film festival circuit so hopefully, this turns out to be a fun horror movie and solid send-off for Forster. It’s out in select theaters and On Demand on October 9th and you can check out the trailer below.
