Clooney Comes to Netflix With The Midnight Sky (Trailer)

Big names continue to head over to Netflix and George Clooney brings The Midnight Sky to the service in December.  Based on the novel Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton, The Midnight Sky follows Clooney (who also directs the movie) as Augustine, a scientist in the Arctic who has to figure out some way to contact the crew of the spaceship Aether, who are unaware that an apocalyptic climate shift has happened in the time since they left Earth.  Felicity Jones, David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler, Sophie Rundle, and Demian Bichir co-star.  It looks like it will be pretty epic, with some elements of something like The Day After Tomorrow mixed with Gravity.  The movie is out on December 23rd on Netflix and you can check out the trailer below.
