Nicolas Cage Explores the History of Swear Words for Netflix (Trailer)

Nicolas Cage is coming to Netflix to guide viewers through the origins of the most popular and controversial curse words in history with the new documentary series, The History of Swear Words.  Each episode explores the origins and evolutions of words like “fuck”, “bitch”, “shit” and more and how they went from just a regular word to a taboo curse.  Along with the inimitable Cage hosting, the show features language experts and comedians like Sarah Silverman and Nikki Glazer discussing the words and conducting experiments, like how apparently you can endure pain longer if you are swearing.  The show will be six episodes for its first season and debuts on January 5th next year.  Check out the trailer below.
