Pixar Goes to Italy in June with Luca (Trailer)
After getting existential in their last few movies like Soul and Inside Out, Pixar is heading to Italy for a coming of age story in Luca. Starring Jacob Tremblay as Luca Paguro and Jack Dylan Glazer as his best friend Alberto Scorfano, the boys are spending their summer exploring a gorgeous seaside town on the Italian Riviera. The only catch is that the boys are actually sea creatures in disguise and their true forms are revealed if they get wet. The townspeople are extremely unwelcoming to sea creatures and between gorging themselves on pasta and gelato, the duo has to keep their true nature a secret. Maya Rudolph, Jim Gaffigan, Emma Berman, and Marco Barricelli co-star, and the movie was directed by Enrico Casarosa, who directed the La Luna short that debuted alongside Brave back in 2011. The movie is out on June 18th and you can check out the trailer below.
