Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson and Salma Hayek Reunite For The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard (Trailer)
A surprise hit back in 2017, The Hitman’s Bodyguard ultimately made over $183 million worldwide at the box office off a $30 million budget and a sequel is on the way later this year, The Hitman’s Bodyguard’s Wife. Ryan Reynolds is back as expert bodyguard/protection specialist Michael Bryce, who is taking a break from bodyguarding as he’s having nightmares of Darius Kinkaid (Samuel L. Jackson) after the events of the first movie. Kinkaid comes back into Bryce’s life when his wife Sonia (Salma Hayek) forces Bryce to help them in the new trouble the couple finds themselves in related to a madman played by Antonio Banderas. Morgan Freeman, Frank Grillo, Caroline Goodall, Rebecca Front, Gabriella Wright, and Richard E. Grant co-star with director Patrick Hughes back to direct. The first movie was a fun, Shane Blackesque action-comedy and hopefully, this one will maintain the fun and not run the premise into the ground. The movie is out on June 16th and you can check out the trailer below.
