Matt Damon Hunts the Truth in France in Stillwater (Trailer)

Matt Damon plays an Oklahoma oil rig roughneck who travels to France to try and get his daughter out of prison in the upcoming thriller Stillwater.  Damon is Billy Baker, whose daughter Allison (Abigail Breslin) heads overseas to France for college abroad.  When Allison is arrested for murder when a girl she was living with turns up dead, Billy travels to France and out of his element to try and find the truth and try to bring her home.  He meets Virginie (Camille Cottin), a local woman who offers to help with Billy’s mission and the two start to develop a complicated relationship.  The movie was directed by Tom McCarthy, who previously directed movies like Spotlight, The Visitor and Win Win.  Stillwater is out on July 30th and you can check out the trailer below.
