E3 2021 Wrap-Up

After a year off, E3 came back to showcase the next generation of games, hardware, and creators to check out. With over 30 companies and special presentations, it was 20+ hours of content for gamers to stream. With big game devs waiting all year to unleash huge announcements, it was an exciting event to guess would be revealed. However, not every game presentation sparked huge excitement. We rounded up the best announcements and trailers we think were great. And maybe one or two that are just plain goofy to watch again.

Battle at the Box Office 6/14/21

With In the Heights opening weaker than anticipated, A Quiet Place Part 2 took back the top spot at the box office and became the first movie since the pandemic started to make over $100 million domestically.

Bryan Ferry contributed “Kiss and Tell” to the soundtrack for 1988’s Bright Lights, Big City, which featured a darker and more serious turn for Michael J Fox as he played a fact-checker at a big magazine in New York City that spirals into drug and alcohol abuse after a number of personal and professional setbacks, including the death of his mother to cancer.
