Frank Grillo Reteams with Joe Carnahan for Copshop (Trailer)

After teaming up on Hulu for Boss Level earlier this year, Frank Grillo and Joe Carnahan are back in September for Copshop.  Grillo plays con artist Teddy Murretto, who attempts to hide from the multiple assassins after him by getting arrested and locked up in a small-town police station.  Unfortunately for Teddy, two of the hitmen after him track him down with one, Bob Viddick (Gerard Butler) getting locked up alongside Teddy and another, Tony Lamb (Toby Huss) assaulting the station from outside.  Teddy’s only hope of survival is a rookie cop named Valerie Young (Alexis Louder), who finds herself caught between the two assassins.  There definitely seems to be a bit of the Smoking Aces DNA in Copshop along with some Assault on Precinct 13 vibes and everyone, especially Butler and Huss, seems like they’re having a great time.  The movie is out on September 17th and you can check out the trailer below.
