Jake Gyllenhaal Deals With a Tense 911 Situation in The Guilty (Trailer)

Jake Gyllenhaal returns to Netflix in October for the thriller The Guilty.  Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by True Detective’s Nic Pizzolatto, Gyllenhaal is a recently demoted LAPD officer, Joe Baylor, who is working in the 911 call center.  After a morning of routine calls, Joe receives a call from a desperate woman who is being abducted and races to try and gather enough information for the officers in the field to find her before it’s too late.  The movie is a remake of a Danish movie of the same name and along with Gyllenhaal, the movie features Ethan Hawke, Riley Keough, Christina Vidal, Eli Goree, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Paul Dano, and Peter Sarsgaard, pretty much all in voiceover.  The movie will be in select theaters and Netflix on October 1st and you can check out the trailer below.
