Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence Try to Convince Earth the World is Ending in Don’t Look Up (Trailer)

Adam McKay has been putting a satirical spin on things like the housing crisis and Dick Cheney and in December he’s having Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence try to convince the world that a comet is heading towards the planet and will destroy it in Don’t Look Up on Netflix.  DiCaprio and Lawrence are two low-level astronomers who discover a massive comet is on a collision course with Earth and will destroy the planet.  Their main issue however is trying to convince the world that what they are saying is true, which includes meeting with the President, played by Meryl Streep, and going on a media blitz.  Timothee Chalamet, Jonah Hill, Gina Gershon, Cate Blanchett, Ariana Grande, Rob Morgan, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Scott Mescudi, and Ron Perlman co-star and McKay co-wrote the script as well as directed.  The movie is in select theaters and Netflix on Christmas Eve (12/24) and you can check out the trailer below.
