Scott Adkins has had some fantastic one-take action sequences in his career but his upcoming movie One Shot takes things to the next level as the entire movie is shot in one-take and in real-time as Adkins plays a Navy SEAL who arrives at a CIA black site to get information about an impending attack on Washington DC from a detainee but the base is attacked by terrorists.

After a string of horrible sequels after the first two Home Alone movies, Disney is rebooting the franchise in November with Home Sweet Home Alone, which puts Jojo Rabbit co-star Archie Yates as the new kid left Home Alone, who has to defend his home from a pair of married crooks played by Ellie Kemper and Rob Delaney.

The complete Superman: The Animated Series is out this week on Blu-ray along with Inglourious Basterds, Carlito’s Way and others making their 4K debut, High Sierra in the Criterion Collection, cult horror favorite Deadly Friend on Blu-Ray, The Green Knight, The Flash and Black Lightning and more.

After 15 years, Daniel Craig’s run as James Bond finally comes to a close with No Time to Die, an almost Avengers: Endgame length send-off that ties up all the loose ends of the Craig era but definitely feels its length at times and some other flaws that keep it from reaching the heights of Casino Royale or Skyfall.

No Time to Die took the top spot at the box office with a solid domestic debut to add to it’s already impressive worldwide grosses while Venom: Let There Be Carnage dropped to second and The Many Saints of Newark saw a steep drop from it’s fairly mediocre debut last weekend.

Although she co-starred with him on the first two Doctor Dolittle movies, Raven-Symoné didn’t appear in the 2003 Eddie Murphy movie The Haunted Mansion, instead contributing a cover of the Stevie Wonder classic “Superstition” and appearing in a tie-in music video.

After the over the top insanity of the Milla Jovovich RE series, Sony is rebooting with a movie that hews closer to the games, specifically Resident Evil 1 and 2, with Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, which arrives in theaters in November.

Released in 1995 with the hopes of being the next Jurassic Park, the Michael Crichton adaptation Congo was not quite as well-received as that 1993 classic but it performed better than expected at the box office and has since developed a cult audience that enjoys the more campy aspects of the jungle adventure.
