Gary Oldman Leads a Group of Disgraced Spies in Slow Horses (Trailer)
Probably much to the chagrin of Jon Hamm, Gary Oldman is the latest star heading to Apple TV+ with the upcoming spy thriller series, Slow Horses. Based on the novel by Mick Herron, Oldman plays Jackson Lamb, the supervisor of Slough House, an MI5 dumping ground where disgraced agents who have made seemingly career-ending mistakes are assigned. One of the agents, River Cartwright (Jack Lowden) is determined to prove himself and return to MI5 proper and he gets Slough House involved in a kidnapping case that seems to have some sort of cover-up coming from MI5 higher-up Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas). Jonathan Pryce and Olivia Cooke co-star and all 6 episodes of the series are directed by James Hawes, who previously directed episodes of Black Mirror, Raised by Wolves, The Alienist, and Snowpiercer with Justified and The Americans executive producer Graham Yost executive producing this as well. The show debuts on April 1st on Apple TV+ and you can check out the trailer below.
