Sonic Speeds Back into Theaters in April (Trailer)

2020’s Sonic the Hedgehog was a surprisingly hilarious and fun theatrical debut for Sonic and it seems, with all the initial setup and character development out of the way, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is going whole (hedge)hog into fan service and over the top action.  Following the events of the first movie, Sonic (Ben Schwartz) is trying to fight crime and figure out how to be a hero but his old nemesis Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) returns to Earth with a new ally, Knuckles (Idris Elba), and a plan to steal a Chaos Emerald, a source of ultimate power that could make him unstoppable.  Sonic luckily has a new ally as well in the form of Miles Prower aka Tails (OG voice actor Colleen O’Shaughnessey) along with his human friends Tom (James Marsden) and Maddie (Tika Sumpter).  From the Chaos Emerald to The Tornado to snowboarding to Robotnik’s classic pod vehicle and a giant Robotnik mech, there seems to be tons for Sonic fans to get excited about in this sequel.  The movie is out on April 8th and you can check out the final trailer below.
