Claire Danes and Tom Hiddleston Investigate The Essex Serpent in May (Trailer)

The first of two upcoming Tom Hiddleston projects for Apple TV+, The Essex Serpent stars Hiddleston and Claire Danes as a mystical creature, and Victorian-era drama affects the small town of Essex.  Based on the novel by Sarah Perry, Danes plays Cora Seaborne, a widow from London who moves to Essex to investigate claims that a sea serpent is attacking the locals.  She bonds with the local vicar, Will Ransome (Hiddleston) but her personal relationships begin to cause more issues than the monster and the townsfolk begin to accuse her of attracting the beast in the first place.  Frank Dillane, Clémence Poésy, and Hayley Squires, and the series begins on Apple TV+ on May 13th.  Check out the trailer below.
