Taron Egerton is Forced to Befriend a Serial Killer in Black Bird (Trailer)
Taron Egerton is starring in the new Apple TV+ thriller Black Bird, which is based on true events. Egerton plays Jimmy Keene, who is going to prison for 10 years in a minimum security facility. He’s offered a risky deal that could lead to his freedom much sooner as he agrees to be transferred to a maximum security prison for the criminally insane. If he can get a confession from serial killer Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser) and find out where Larry buried his victims, Jimmy will earn his freedom. This new prison is an extremely dangerous place however and, if anyone finds out he’s a snitch, he could wind up dead. Greg Kinnear, Sepideh Moafi, and the late Ray Liotta, in one of his final roles, co-star, and the show was developed by Dennis Lehane, who wrote Gone, Baby Gone, Mystic River, Shutter Island, Live By Night. the miniseries begins on July 8th and you can check out the trailer below.
