Kevin Dillon is in the Hot Seat in July (Trailer)

We all remember the scene from Lethal Weapon 2 where Murtaugh was trapped on a toilet rigged with a bomb. Hot Seat takes that “sitting on a bomb” premise to feature length and, coincidentally, featured Mel Gibson co-starring.  Gibson plays Wallace Reed, a member of the bomb squad who investigates a car that exploded in a local park.  Meanwhile, Kevin Dillon plays Orlando Friar, a former hacker turned cybersecurity tech.  Sitting down for work, he finds his chair rigged with a bomb that will go off if he gets up and also has a timer counting down.  A malicious and anonymous caller contacts him and demands that Orlando hack the servers for a financial company in the same building or die.  Shanon Doherty co-stars along with Keith Jardine, Eddie Steeples, and Sam Asghari.  The movie is directed by James Cullen Bressack, who has directed a number of the recent Bruce Willis movies and Steven Seagal’s Beyond the Law.  Hot Seat is out in Select Theaters, on Digital, and On Demand on July 1, 2022, check out the trailer below.
