Damien Chazelle Heads Back to Hollywood for Babylon (Trailer)

After exploring contemporary Hollywood in the Oscar-nominated La La Land, writer/director is heading back to the end of the silent era of the late 1920/early 1930s in Babylon.  Babylon follows a number of characters who either work in Hollywood or live in its vicinity around Los Angeles and features Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Samara Weaving, Eric Roberts, Tobey Maguire, Jean Smart, Katherine Waterson, Flea, Lukas Haas, Diego Calva, Olivia Wilde and more.  It looks like a wild time, featuring tons of 1920s debauchery in iconic locales like the Mayan Theater, although it seems like Margot Robbie’s character gets in over her head at some point.  Babylon is out in select theaters this Christmas and will expand wide on January 6th next year.  Check out the trailer below.
