Much like other 80s horror movies like Dream Warriors and Jason Lives, Wes Craven’s 1989 slasher movie Shocker looked to the world of heavy metal for its soundtrack and got a supergroup called The Dudes of Wrath for its title song, which featured the likes of Paul Stanley, Desmond Child, Tommy Lee and more.

For the first Everything Action Commentary of 2022, Zach and Chris celebrated the 30th anniversary of Freejack by watching the 1992 sci-fi/cyberpunk “classic”(?).

A former CIA agent, Ray Quick quits after a mission that goes wrong and becomes a freelance hitman who specializes in explosive-based kills. He becomes involved with a client named May Munro, who is looking for revenge against the men who killed her parents.

After letting Scream take the spot last weekend, Spider-Man: No Way Home is back on the top of the box office charts and still climbing up the all-time domestic and worldwide record lists while the baffling saga of The King’s Daughter, a movie shot and finished in 2014 that only saw release this past weekend, came to an ignominious end with one of the worst openings of all time.

Thanks to Peacemaker’s incredible opening credits, everyone now has Norwegian glam metal band Wig Wam’s 2010 song “Do You Wanna Taste It?” stuck in their heads along with the other fantastic as always soundtrack choices from James Gunn.
