The Russos Bring Global Espionage Action to Amazon with Citadel (Trailer)

The Russo Brothers brought The Gray Man to Netflix last year and now they are heading to Amazon for the new globe-hopping espionage action series Citadel in April.  Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas co-star as agents of the titular organization Citadel.  After a mission goes bad, both agents don’t have any memory of their secret agent status but they have to try and recover their memories and use their skills to take down a threat that could destroy the world.  Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville, Osy Ikhile, Ashleigh Cummings, and Roland Møller co-star.  This main series is meant to be a springboard for an entire Citadel shared universe, with spin-offs of the show set in Italy, India, and Mexico, with characters from all the shows teaming up in future entries.  The show also had one of the biggest budgets of all time for a TV series, getting close to Rings of Power territory.  Citadel debuts on April 28th on Prime Video and you can check out the trailer below.
