Ahsoka Gathers Some Old Friends to Hunt Thrawn in August (Trailer)

After her appearances in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Rosario Dawson is back as the live-action incarnation of Ahsoka Tano in the upcoming Star Wars Disney+ series, Ahsoka.  Picking up from her appearances in the aforementioned live-action shows, as well as Star Wars Rebels, Ahsoka is on the trail of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who disappeared at the end of Rebels with Ezra Bridger, who will be played by Eman Esfandi in live-action.  News of Thrawn’s return and a host of new Sith warriors leads Ahsoka to reunite with old friends Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) to investigate the truth of Thrawn’s return and maybe finally reunite with their lost Jedi friend.  Hayden Christensen is set to return again in some capacity as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader with Ray Stevenson as the new Sith big bad Baylan and Ivanna Sakhno as his apprentice.  Crotchety Rebels droid Chopper is returning in live-action as well and it seems like a safe bet after his cameo in The Mandalorian that maybe Zeb (Steve Blum) will appear too.  Ashoka starts streaming in August on Disney+ and you can check out the trailer below.
