There’s A Conspiracy Afoot in They Cloned Tyrone (Trailer)

Paying homage to 70s Blaxploitation movies with a sci-fi twist, They Cloned Tyrone is coming to Netflix in July.  Jamie Foxx is back with another big Netflix summer blockbuster, following up last year’s great Day Shift, along with John Boyeaga and Teyonah Paris and the trio discover a mysterious government conspiracy that involves, among other things, cloning Boyeaga’s character.  Kiefer Sutherland, David Alan Grier, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Tamberla Perry, and Eric Robinson Jr. co-star, and the movie was directed by Juel Taylor, making his directorial debut.  It looks like it has Black Dynamite vibes, minus the intentional technical gaffes but similar vibes, plotting, and costuming.  They Cloned Tyrone is out on July 21st and you can check out the trailer below.
