Up to Speed: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2

While reaction to the various Star Trek shows on Paramount+ has been mixed, almost everyone agrees that Strange New Worlds is one of the best and you can catch up on Season 1 before diving into Season 2 this week.  A spin-off of Star Trek: Discovery, Strange New Worlds is set before the original Star Trek series and follows the adventures of the Enterprise crew under Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount).  The show returned the Star Trek universe to the classic, episode of the week format, with the crew getting into a mix of wacky and serious missions on their mission to explore the outer reaches of the universe.  You can watch the official season 1 recap below and, if you haven’t watched the show at all, you can watch the first episode from season 1 as well.
