The current DC Universe is dying in the most painful way possible, with back-to-back disasters in Shazam! Fury of the Gods and The Flash.  The odds are stacked against it but maybe Blue Beetle can lessen the pain when it comes out in August, especially as it’s being setup as the first character in the new DC Universe being built by James Gunn and Peter Safran.
