Scorsese Brings Epic Crime Drama to Theaters and Apple TV+ with Killers of the Flower Moon (Trailer)
After his last crime epic, The Irishman, Martin Scorsese returns to theaters (and Apple TV+) for his newest movie, Killers of the Flower Moon, in October. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Ernest Burkart, who arrives in Oklahoma to work for his uncle, William Hale (Robert DeNiro). Hale is determined to siphon off as much money from the local Osage tribe as possible, who became extremely powerful and wealthy when oil was found on their lands. Burkhart becomes torn between loyalties when he falls for an Osage woman, Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), and a string of suspicious deaths begin to befall the Osage. The fledgling FBI begins an investigation, led by a young J. Edgar Hoover and Tom White (Jesse Plemons), a Texas Ranger. Tantoo Cardinal, John Lithgow, and Brendan Fraser co-star. The movie is based on the book by David Grann and based on true events. Killers of the Flower Moon opens on October 20th in theaters and will arrive on Apple TV+ sometime later.
