Jason Momoa Closes Out the DCEU in December with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Trailer)
The DCEU has been gasping to a finish with every release this year (Shazam: Fury of The Gods, The Flash and Blue Beetle) at best being disappointing and worst being one of the biggest box office disasters in history. DC and Warner Discovery are probably hoping to end things on a high note in December with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Jason Momoa returns as Arthur Curry aka Aquaman, the King of Atlantis, four years after the events of the first movie. Trying to balance his life as a husband and a father with his duties to Atlantis, both worlds are threatened by the return of Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), who has discovered and now wields the powerful Black Trident, a weapon of black magic that threatens to destroy everything above and below the ocean. Aquaman is forced to team up with his treacherous half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) on his quest to stop Black Manta and the pair seek out the titular Lost Kingdom. Temeura Morrison, Nicole Kidman, Amber Heard, Dolph Lundgren, and Randall Park co-star with James Wan returning to direct. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom arrives on December 20th this year and you can check out the trailer below.
