Nic Cage Hunts Buffalo in Butcher’s Crossing (Trailer)

Nicolas Cage returns to the Wild West in October as a deranged buffalo hunter in Butcher’s Crossing.  Fred Hechinger co-stars as Harvard student Will Andrews, who leaves his privileged life in the East and heads west to join a buffalo hunt led by Miller (Cage), who pushes the crew to the limits and seems to revel in the slaughter of more buffalo than necessary.  Xander Berkeley, Rachel Keller, Jeremy Bobb, and Paul Raci co-star, and the movie was directed by Gabe Polsky, whose most known previous work is probably Red Army, the hockey documentary about the titular Soviet team.  The movie definitely has some The Revenant vibes and crazy, bald Nic Cage has our attention.  The movie is out on October 20th and you can check out the trailer below.
