The Death Chill Hits NYC in March in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (Trailer)
Picking up from 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the new and old Ghostbusters must come together when a new supernatural threat hits New York City in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. The Death Chill, a powerful force that is fueled by fear and covers everything in a deadly freeze hits New York in the middle of the summer and it’s up to the Spengler family; Phoebe (Mckenna Grace), Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) and Callie (Carrie Coon) along with Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd), Podcast (Logan Kim) and Lucky Domingo (Celeste O’Connor) to join Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), Winston Zeddmore (Ernie Hudson) and Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) to save the world. Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind join the cast for the sequel and Annie Potts and William Atherton return to reprise their roles as Janine Melnitz and Walter Peck from the original movies. Gil Kenan, who directed Monster House and co-wrote Afterlife directs Frozen Empire, co-writing the script with Jason Reitman. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire arrives on March 29th next year and you can check out the trailer below.
