Austin Butler Takes to the Sky in Masters of the Air (Trailer)

Over a decade since The Pacific and over two decades since Band of Brothers, the third World War II series from executive producers Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman finally arrives on Apple TV+ in January with Masters of the Air.  Based on the book Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought The Air War Against Nazi Germany by Donald L. Miller, the series follows the 100th Bombardment Group of the US Air Force during World War II as the fly missions in the skies of Europe.  Austin Butler, Barry Keoghan, Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle, Nate Mann, Josiah Cross, Branden Cook, and Ncuti Gatwa star in the series, which will feature multiple episodes directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga along with Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the team behind Captain Marvel.  John Orloff, who wrote for Band of Brothers, is back to writing on most of the episodes and the series will be 9 episodes starting on January 26th next year with the first two episodes.  Check out the trailer below.
