The Cards Hold Your Fate in May with Tarot (Trailer)
A deadly fate awaits a group of friends in May when Tarot hits theaters. Starring Harriet Slater, Adain Bradley, Avantika, and Jacob Batalon, a group of friends fools around with a strange deck of tarot cards they find, which breaks the first sacred rule of tarot: never use someone else’s deck without their permission. The group soon finds themselves being haunted by the manifestations of the cards they drew, like the Magician, the Hangman, the Fool, and more. They have to figure out how to stop the curse before they all meet their grisly end. It has a very Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark vibe and I dig the idea of making the tarot characters and cards manifest as demonic entities. Tarot is directed by Spenser Cohen, who wrote Moonfall and wrote and directed the short film Blink, and Anna Halberg, who co-wrote and directed Blink and both of them are making their feature film debut as directors. Tarot is out on May 10th and you can check out the trailer below.
