Everything Action Theater: Halo Legends

Several franchises have seen anime anthologies, including Batman, The Matrix and, most recently, Star Wars, and Halo received one in 2010 in the form of Halo Legends.  Overseen by Appleseed creator Shinji Aramaki and 343 Industries, Halo Legends featured 7 short films from several Japanese animation studios, including Bone, Toei Animation, and Production I.G.  The stories are all canon to the video game series lore except for Toei’s entry, Odd One Out, but all the studios took some liberties with the designs and styles.  The anthology was mostly positively received and the movie was released on Blu-ray and DVD in February 2010.  You can check out the entire movie below via YouTube.
