Civil War Erupts in April from A24 (Trailer)

A24 and Alex Garland are unleashing a new Civil War in theaters when the dystopian thriller opens in April.  Set in the near future, America is embroiled in a war between the American government and a secessionist force, the “Western Forces”, which consists of Texas and California.  There is also a “Florida Alliance” in the mix as well.  Kirsten Dunst plays a photojournalist trying to document the war and gets caught between the factions.  Cailee Spaeny, Wagner Moura, Nick Offerman, Jesse Plemons, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Karl Glusman, Sonoya Mizuno and Jonica T. Gibbs co-star.  The movie has already generated tons of controversy and hot takes based solely on the trailers and we’ll have to see how that intensifies when the movie releases. Civil War opens on April 12th and you can check out the trailer below.
