A24 Blurs the Line Between Reality and Fiction in I Saw the TV Glow (Trailer)

A24’s particular blend of horror returns in May with the supernatural horror/thriller I Saw the TV Glow. Justice Smith and Bridgette Lundy-Paine co-star as teenagers who share a bond due to their mutual love for a creepy TV series, The Pink Opaque. When the show is canceled, their reality starts to blur with the fictional world and bizarre things start to happen.  It definitely has some Channel Zero: Candle Cove vibes mixed with something like Under the Silver Lake.  The movie was written and directed by Jane Schoenbrun, who previously directed We’re All Going to the World’s Fair in 2021.  The movie debuted to rave reviews at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and it will arrive in theaters on May 3rd.  Check out the trailer below.
