The High Republic Jedi Face a Deadly Threat in The Acolyte (Trailer)

The first Star Wars live-action series set during the High Republic era, The Acolyte arrives on Disney+ in June.  100 years before The Phantom Menace, The Acolyte follows a former Jedi padawan and her former master as they investigate a series of crimes against the Jedi, where they encounter the sinister forces of the Dark Side.  Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-Jae, Carrie-Anne Moss, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Rebecca Henderson star, and the series was created by Leslye Headland, who co-created Russian Doll on Netflix.  The series debuts on June 4th with two episodes and the first season will be 8 episodes total.  Check out the trailer below.
