Arthur Fleck Dances His Way to Court in Joker: Folie À Deux (Trailer)
Two years after murdering Murray Franklin (Robert De Niro) live on television, Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) is awaiting trial and unexpectedly finds true love in Joker: Folie À Deux. While awaiting his court date, Arthur has been locked away in Arkham Asylum, where he meets fellow inmate Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga). The pair fall madly in love and share musical delusions manifesting in elaborate song and dance numbers. Many Gotham citizens have been radicalized outside the asylum by Arthur’s actions and have started a movement to free him. Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Steve Coogan, Ken Leung, Leigh Gill, and Zazie Beetz co-star. Todd Phillips returns to direct, and he also co-wrote the script.
