Everything Action Theater: The Bourne Supremacy (2004)

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in July, you can watch 2004’s The Bourne Supremacy in the latest Everything Action Theater.  In the second movie in the Bourne franchise, Matt Damon returned as the amnesiac super soldier Jason Bourne, who gets drawn back into the world of CIA conspiracies when he’s targetted by the vicious assassin Kirill (Karl Urban), who frames him for a botched CIA deal that left an agent and a Russian source dead and files that has evidence about a CIA operative who stole $20 million.  Bourne travels the globe, dodging Kirill and the CIA and trying to unravel this latest conspiracy and his potential ties to it from his past life.  Paul Greengrass took over directing duties and introduced a hand-held style to the action that, while novel at the time, soon became the shooting style of choice for action movies until John Wick brought back clear, heavily choreographed action sequences.  The Bourne Supremacy was a huge hit, making $290 million on a budget of $75 million and earning positive reviews.  It was followed by The Bourne Ultimatum, The Bourne Legacy, Jason Bourne, and the USA series Treadstone.  You can watch the movie below, thanks to YouTube.
