Samara Weaving Flees a Doomsday Cult in Azrael (Trailer)

In the upcoming horror movie Azrael, Samara Weaving finds herself in a bloody battle for survival against a doomsday cult.  Weaving plays the titular character, who is captured and set as a sacrifice by a silent cult living in the post-apocalypse.  Azrael escapes and has to try to escape the cult, but also demonic creatures stalking the woods.  Vic Carmen Sonne, Katariina Unt, and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett co-star.  E.L. Katz, who previously worked on Channel Zero, ABCs of Death 2, and The Haunting of Bly Manor, is directing the movie.  Azrael hits theaters on September 27th and will eventually make its way to Shudder, as it’s an IFC Films/Shudder production.  Check out the trailer below.
