A24 Hosts an Apocalyptic Y2K Party in December (Trailer)
A24 heads back to the dawn of the millennium for the apocalyptic horror comedy of Y2K. Written and directed by SNL writer Kyle Mooney in his directorial debut, Y2K is set on December 31st, 1999, and sees all the fears of the Y2K bug realized when machines become sentient and start wreaking havoc. High schoolers, including Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison, and Rachel Zegler, must try to survive the apocalypse and battle the strange mechanized monsters now stalking the world. Kyle Mooney also appears in the movie along with Tim Heidecker, Alicia Silverstone, Daniel Zolghadri, Fred Durst(!), and The Kid Laroi. The film debuted at SXSW earlier this year and will arrive in theaters on December 6th. Check out the trailer below.
