Minecraft Gets Real Next Year in Theaters (Trailer)
The best-selling video game of all time, Minecraft comes to theaters in April next year with A Minecraft Movie. Directed by Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre director Jared Hess, A Minecraft Movie follows a quartet of misfits, played by Jason Momoa, Emma Myers, Sebastian Hansen, and Danielle Brooks, who are sucked into “The Overworld” of Minecraft and have to team up with the expert crafter Steve (Jack Black) to escape. The movie brings the game’s iconic pixel look into high def, and there are creatures like pigs, zombies, and creepers featured in the trailer. Jermaine Clement, Kate McKinnon, and Jennifer Coolidge are also appearing in the movie. A Minecraft Movie is in theaters on April 4th, and you can check out the first teaser below.
