Everything Action Theater: Conan the Barbarian
The great James Earl Jones passed away this week at age 93. While we’ll never forget him for Darth Vader and Mufasa, one of our favorite roles of his is the villainous Thulsa Doom in 1982’s Conan the Barbarian, which you can watch in the latest Everything Action Theater. Based on the character created by Robert E. Howard, Conan the Barbarian starred Arnold Schwarzenegger in his breakout role, whose family is killed by Doom and his snake cult. After growing strong in slavery on the Wheel of Pain and in the gladiator arena, Conan breaks free and forms a group of fellow warriors to get his revenge on Doom. Sandahl Bergman, Mako, Ben Davidson, Cassandra Gaviola, Max Von Sydow co-star, and the legendary John Milius directed the movie. The movie was a massive success and spawned a sequel, Conan the Destroyer and a spin-off Red Sonja. You can watch the entire film below.
