A New Lioness is Recruited in Special Ops: Lioness Season 2 (Trailer)
Taylor Sheridan’s spy action series Special Ops: Lioness returns to Paramount+ in October with a new dangerous mission. Genesis Rodriguez is the new Lioness operative, Captain Josephina Carrillo, recruited by Zoe Saldana’s CIA agent, Joe, to infiltrate a new group posing a severe threat to the US. Nicole Kidman, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Thad Luckinbill, and Dave Annable return from season 1 (along with possibly original Lioness Laysla De Oliveira, even though it appears she’s not in the trailer) . Max Martini, Kirk Acevedo, and Patricia de Leon join the cast in recurring roles. Like Season 1, Taylor Sheridan wrote all eight episodes of Season 2 and directed the third episode. Lioness debuts the first two episodes of Season 2 on October 27th, and then the rest of the season airs weekly. Check out the trailer for Season 2 below.
